The schools of Turkish Maarif Foundation celebrated the 102nd anniversary of our Republic with great enthusiasm through events organized all around the world. United by the same feelings and values on the occasion of the October 29th Republic Day, the Maarif family shared the bright future of Türkiye and the achievements of the Republic.
In TMF schools across different countries, students, teachers, parents, and guests shared the joy of Republic Day with special programs they prepared. During the celebrations accompanied by poems, dances, musical performances, and cultural presentations, messages of friendship, brotherhood, and unity came to the forefront. Students demonstrated universal solidarity by reflecting both their love for Türkiye and the cultural colors of the countries they live in.
Unity, Solidarity, and the Joy of the Republic in Maarif Schools
In Venezuela, students recited poems expressing their love for Türkiye, emphasizing the friendship between the two nations. In Ghana, celebrations enriched with traditional games showcased a beautiful example of cultural exchange. In the United States, ceremonies filled with poetry, dance, and oratory honored Atatürk and our nation, the founder of the Republic. In Australia, students wore traditional outfits from various cultures, delivering a message of multicultural unity. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, students read Republic-themed poems, while in Senegal, the event titled “What Does Türkiye Mean to You?” spread feelings of brotherhood and affection.
Through its schools operating around the world, Turkish Maarif Foundation celebrated not only a national holiday but also shared common ideals, peace, and the unifying power of education.
