Maarif Student Wins Medal at International Mathematical Olympiad

Sultan Musahodjaev, a 10th-grade student at Turkish Maarif Foundation Kyrgyzstan Education Complex, won a bronze medal at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad held in Shanghai, China.

Sultan Musahodjaev, a 10th-grade student at Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) Kyrgyzstan Education Complex, earned a bronze medal at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), held in Shanghai, China.

The Olympiad, held from 10 to 21 July and regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious competitions in its field, brought together 666 students from 117 countries. At the competition, where students from around the world demonstrated their mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills, Musahodjaev successfully completed the challenging stages and secured a bronze medal.

The Kyrgyzstan National Team, of which Musahodjaev was a member, concluded the competition with three silver and two bronze medals. With this result, Kyrgyzstan ranked 35th overall and succeeded in placing among the world’s top 40 teams for the third consecutive year.

Drawing attention with his achievement on the international stage, Sultan Musahodjaev successfully represented both Kyrgyzstan and Turkish Maarif Foundation schools.
