Cooperation Opportunities Discussed Between Kosovo Maarif Schools and Trakya University

New opportunities for cooperation regarding Turkish Maarif Foundation’s educational activities in Kosovo were discussed. In this context, a delegation led by Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler visited Kosovo Maarif Schools.

Turkish Maarif Foundation Kosovo Representative Mehmet Nedim Aslan hosted the university delegation, which was visiting the country as part of the “Bridges of Brotherhood Project” carried out by Trakya University. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on educational activities in Kosovo, while potential academic and educational cooperation between Turkish Maarif Foundation’s educational institutions and Trakya University was also discussed.

The meeting focused on in-service training programs aimed at supporting teachers’ professional development, as well as joint initiatives that could contribute to students’ academic development. The parties also exchanged views on collaborative projects based on the sharing of academic knowledge and experience.

Turkish Maarif Foundation Kosovo Representative Nedim Aslan highlighted the potential contribution that cooperation with Trakya University could make to educational activities in Kosovo, stating that such initiatives could create new opportunities for both teachers and students.

Trakya University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hatipler, meanwhile, referred to Turkish Maarif Foundation’s educational activities across different regions of the world, particularly in the Balkan countries. Hatipler stated that Trakya University was ready to share its academic expertise and contribute to joint initiatives aimed at supporting teachers’ professional development.

The visit concluded with an exchange of gifts and a commemorative photo.
