The "TÜBA and TÜBİTAK Science Awards Ceremony", organized jointly by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) under the auspices of the Presidency, was hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, President of Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, President of TÜBA Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, rectors of universities, award-winning academics and their families attended the ceremony held at Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center.
Following the protocol speeches, TMF President Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, Vice President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Bilgili, Encyclopedia Scientific Committee Presidents Dr. Coşkun Yılmaz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Otrar and Encyclopedia Coordinator Dr. Muhammet Altıntaş presented the Turkish Maarif Encyclopedia prepared by TMF and TÜBA academy to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
