Algeria has approved the decision to open a Maarif School affiliated to Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) in the capital. The Algerian Presidential Decree on the approval of the agreement on the opening of the International Maarif School was published in the Algerian Official Gazette No. 80 dated December 9. Thus, the approval process of the agreement on the Algerian side was completed.
The law on the approval of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria on the opening of an International Maarif School in Algeria was published in the Turkish Official Gazette on 29 December 2023.
Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) is an organization authorized to carry out educational activities abroad on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye. Established on 17 June 2016 with Law No. 6721, the foundation provides a wide range of educational services from pre-school to higher education across the world.
TMF actively provides educational services in 55 countries around the world with 471 Educational Institutions, one of which is a university, 12 Türkiye Research Centers and 44 student dormitories.
