Romania International Maarif Schools concluded the 2024–2025 academic year with a grand graduation ceremony held in Bucharest. The event, which took place at the Caro Hotel, was attended by students, teachers, parents, and numerous guests.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Zarife Seçer, Member of the Board of Trustees of Turkish Maarif Foundation, Özgür Kıvanç Altan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bucharest, Serpil Murtezaoğlu, Education Advisor, Salih Yurç, TİKA Bucharest Coordinator, as well as representatives from the business world and civil society organizations.
The program began with the national anthems of Türkiye and Romania. Then, the top students of the school gave emotional speeches. One of the students added color to the night by performing a song he had prepared especially for the graduation. The most exciting moments of the ceremony were when the students cut the cake together and performed the traditional cap throwing ceremony.
Prof. Dr. Zarife Seçer, in her speech at the ceremony, highlighted the educational activities carried out by Turkish Maarif Foundation in various regions and extended her best wishes to the graduating students and their families.
The Romania International Maarif Schools took pride in sending off their graduating students as academically and culturally well-rounded individuals.
