Georgia Move from Turkish Maarif Foundation

Second session of Turkey-Georgia High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (YDSK) meeting was held under the presidency of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikaşvili. Maarif Foundation Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Cem Zorlu also participated in the meeting. After the meetings having a busy agenda, Prof. Zorlu paid official visits for the schools planned to be opened in Georgia by Maarif Foundation.  He visited Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikaşvili, Yunus Emre Institute Coordinator Bahadır Şahin, Georgia Coordinator of TIKA Hüseyin Şanlı and Tbilisi Ambassador Zeki Levent Gümrükçü in their offices and he informed them about the works of Turkish Maarif Foundation. He said that Turkish Maarif Foundation is a strategic institution, it aims to be in 193 countries, it is Turkey’s window of education opening to the world and it will lead to carry our science, wisdom and virtues being our common heritage for centuries around the world. He said that “We believe that the education is a whole. We take part in all processes from preschool to the university.”
