The Tirana Campus of Albanian Maarif Schools organized the Maarif Marathon with the theme “Back to School”, enabling students to start the new academic year with more energy and motivation. In this event, organized in cooperation with Tirana Municipality, high school students competed in exciting tracks.
The event, which attracted a large number of participants, also attracted a lot of attention from the press. The students not only enjoyed playing sports but also made good memories with their friends. The student who finished first in the Maarif Marathon was awarded with a scooter, the second student with a tablet and the third student with a smart watch, and certificates were given to the successful students.
Maarif Tirana Campus teachers followed the competition every two hundred meters, ensuring security and coordination. Within the scope of the event, official notifications were also made to the country's law enforcement and health units.
Mr. Mesut Özbaysar, Albania Country Representative, stated that such activities contribute to the physical and social development of students and help them start the new academic year with motivation. The “Back to School” event will be continued traditionally in the future and aims to reinforce the healthy living habits of young people.
The Maarif Marathon will continue to be organized to strengthen social solidarity and emphasize the importance of sports.
