Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) held the 2024 Maarif Graduates Graduation program with great enthusiasm.
The graduation program was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Bilgili, Vice President of TMF, Adem Yazıcı, District Governor of Üsküdar, Members of the Board of Trustees of Maarif Foundation, Members of the Board of Directors and Maarif graduates.
The program started with the performance of classical works of traditional Turkish music. Opening speeches were made by Board Member Halime Kökçe and Vice President Prof. Dr. Bilgili. Emphasizing that TMF has become an international education brand in the light of its mission, vision and values, Kökçe emphasized that students graduating from Maarif educational institutions will continue to be a part of the Maarif family.
Kökçe said, "As Turkish Maarif Foundation, our mission and vision is to set an example to the world as a country that is at peace with its essence and core values and to raise generations who work for their nation, adopt the ideal of contributing to humanity and benefit from the most advanced opportunities of the age. Prof. Dr. Bilgili stated that TMF is working hard to be present in all UN member states in line with the goal set by our President and said, "Indeed, the Maarif family is a big family with its teachers, students, parents, graduates and administrations at all stages, and this family continues to grow. We have truly become a global educational institution. Maarif Foundation is in its eighth year. Despite being 8 years old, it has gained a great deal of experience. During this time, it has produced content, trained students, opened schools, trained teachers and developed administrators. Therefore, our family has really grown."
Bilgili stated that TMF plays an important role in the international education system and addressed Maarif Alumni as follows: "Maarif's understanding is to continue its educational work around the world, to grow the family and make it sustainable. You are also part of our family, but now you are graduating. This is a beautiful memory and an important period for you. You will start your professional life, maybe you will do graduate studies. But you will never forget that you are a member of the education family. This is a great source of strength and belonging for you. Because our family is a really big, global family."
District Governor Yazıcı, who started his speech by stating that the presence of TMF in Üsküdar is an asset for Üsküdar, stated that Maarif Foundation has accomplished great things in the world in its 8 years of existence and that it continues its duty of being Türkiye's window opening abroad.
Emphasizing the mission of TMF to raise good people, Yazıcı said: "I think that our Maarif Foundation has a very important mission and duty in terms of raising individuals with personality and identity and contributing to world peace and world peace. At this point, we observe that they have very valuable, very good and very valuable works. We also see it when we go abroad. And we are proud of this. I find it extremely meaningful that our Maarif Foundation follows the students graduating from educational institutions abroad in our country in this way and values them."
District Governor Yazıcı concluded his speech by expressing his gratitude to the President of TMF, the members of the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors, and the family of TMF for the work done.
After the pennant handover ceremony, the program ended with the presentation of the graduation badge and gifts.
