Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin visited the International Azerbaijan Maarif School of Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) in Baku as part of his visit to Azerbaijan. Minister Tekin appreciated the work of the school and said that TMF successfully represents our country abroad.
Minister Tekin met with teachers at the Azerbaijan Baku Maarif School and received information about their work. Minister Tekin said, "We visited our Azerbaijan Baku Maarif School. Our TMF Schools proudly fly our flag in our sister country Azerbaijan as well as in different countries of the world and carry out successful activities. I would like to thank all those who have contributed to TMF, which successfully represents our country abroad in order to raise good people, and the staff of the Azerbaijan Baku Maarif School for hosting us in their school."
Minister Tekin was accompanied by Cahit Bağcı, Ambassador of Türkiye to Baku, Bülent Çiftçi, Director General of Personnel, Ömür Karakullukçu, Director General of Support Services, Ali Karagöz, Director General of Vocational and Technical Education, Tuba Korkmaz, Director General of EU and Foreign Affairs, Ahmet İşleyen, Director General of Religious Education, Fethi Fahri Kaya, Director General of Higher Education and Education Abroad and Yurdagül Aydoğan, Education Counselor in Baku.
Founded in 2016, TMF today provides education to over 50 thousand students in more than 400 schools in more than 60 countries. TMF continues its activities with the vision of improving the quality of education, sharing cultural richness and contributing to global peace.
