Maarif students who completed their university education in different cities of Türkiye gathered at the graduation ceremony organized by Turkish Maarif Foundation. At the event held in the foundation's garden, 97 Maarif students celebrated their graduation, while TMF President Mahmut M. Özdil, Istanbul Deputy Governor Mustafa Asım ALKAN, members of the TMF Board of Trustees and Board of Directors, foundation staff, and graduates attended the program.
Speaking at the ceremony, TMF President Mahmut M. Özdil shared the foundation's achievements over the past nine years and its vision for the future. In his speech, Özdil emphasized that Turkish Maarif Foundation is not only an educational institution but also a bearer of a common commitment to humanity. President Özdil said, "This is precisely what sets Maarif schools apart: Instead of applying the same model everywhere, we follow an inclusive, respectful, and needs-oriented approach that speaks to each community in its own voice."
Addressing 97 Maarif students who graduated from universities in Türkiye this year, Özdil stated that they are proud not only of their academic achievements but also of the values they carry. He stated that the graduates are cultural ambassadors between Türkiye and their own countries: “You are not only ambassadors of the Maarif Foundation, but also of Türkiye. Every connection you make with friendship, knowledge, and values will contribute to our dream of building a better world together.”
The program continued with the presentation of gifts to the graduates. Then, Palestinian-themed balloons were released into the sky in memory of Palestinians whose rights to life and education have been taken away. The ceremony concluded with the students taking souvenir photos and enjoying a Bosphorus tour.
