Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay met with his Equatorial Guinean counterpart Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, in Turkey for a working visit.
During the meeting at the Presidential Complex, they discussed the signing of agreements on free trade, the mutual promotion of investments and the prevention of double taxation to improve economic and trade relations between the two countries. Oktay also briefed Mangue on the activities of the Turkish Maarif Foundation.
Expressing his satisfaction with Mangue's visits to Turkey, Oktay stated that Turkey was ready to support and share experiences in the projects planned for the development of Equatorial Guinea.
Oktay also added that Turkish Maarif Foundation had successfully managed the schools taken over since the beginning of 2018.
“Maarif Schools, which provide education at international standards, contribute to the cultural development of the young generations in their country,” Oktay concluded.
