A painting exhibition consisting of the works of Elsa Hoti (12th grade student at Kosovo International Maarif Schools) was presented to art lovers at the National Library of Kosovo ‘Pjetër Bogdani’.
Turkey's Ambassador to Pristina Çağrı Sakar, the director of International Maarif Schools of Pristina Zafer Çınar, Pristina Yunus Emre Institute director Mehmet Ülker, TIKA’s Kosovo Coordinator Cihan Dinçer and many art lovers attended to the opening of the exhibition named "Depth", which mostly consist of paintings that Elsa Hoti drew during painting lessons.
In his opening speech, the school principal Çınar said that 'one of the most important tools to change the world is art'. He also emphasized that as Maarif Schools they will always support the development of students in the field of art and declared : "In our schools, children are taught the skills of transforming moral values, gaining critical thinking skills and approaching the world from a different perspective".
Hoti said that she can reflect her instant emotions on the paintings. "For this reason, all my depth comes to the surface through painting. This exhibition takes its name from this philosophy."
Hoti's painting exhibition which consists of 27 paintings will remain open for two days.
