A Cooperation Agreement Signed for Providing Turkish Courses in Pakistan


NED Technology and Engineering University of Karachi, Pakistan, and Turkish Maarif Foundation (TMF) have signed a cooperation agreement for a free Turkish learning program dedicated to students.

TMF President Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, Turkey’s Consul General in Karachi Tolga Uçak, TMF Karachi Representative Ahmet Sami Demir, NED University Technology and Engineering Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi and officials attended the signing ceremony held within the premises of the University.

Turkey's Consul General in Karachi Uçak stated that learning Turkish would further strengthen the historical ties between the two countries.

TMF Karachi Representative Ahmet Sami Demir declared that thanks to the agreement, TMF would provide a free Turkish language course for students at NED Technology and Engineering University. 

Demir reinforced that they would provide the financial support for teaching Turkish within the scope of the agreement, and that the premises would be provided by the university. 

In addition, joint corporate collaborations would be carried out, he added, including the training of teachers of Pak-Turk Maarif Schools and career development programs.
